A select crew of out-of-towners -- from Tom Curren to John Florence -- have stayed in Jeffreys Bay a couple of days after the event.
With tornado-like conditions, our heroes stayed indoors playing board games and twiddling their thumbs, they learnt how to knit, shaved their backs, anything to soak up the time until the tempest backed off.
When it finally backed off yesterday, this is the scene that greeted them. Supertubes at its very best.
